My Nostalgic Thought
For over two decades I have never been home to my native land.
Though the seeds of good memories were planted there, the values of that memory have transcended from place to place since I left my homeland.
Life precedes all forms of challenges. Challenges that nurtured my strength and stamina and helped develop my own unique person.
Challenges that helped me excel in overcoming adversaries as well as adversities.
For a long time before You Tube became one of the internet phenomena, I always have that deep longing to hear the voices and echoes of the past.
These voices, murmurings and whisperings have often visited me in my dream state. Today, they come alive, reverberating in the hall of the Filipiniana music in songs and dances.
Now I can sit back, close my eyes, and listen to them reliving my spirit of nostalgia, re-envigorating my longings of the beautiful Philippines of long ago.
For this, I am indebted to Apmech of the USA and to others whose credit will be added upon approval of my request of permission. To you all and You Tube, thank you for the most beautiful music that will fill my collection and collation of memories in my ..."Nostalgia para Filipiniana".
